The military exhibition in Bucharest freezes your blood. There are 650 participating companies, almost three times more than 10 years ago.
The world gathered, in the north of Bucharest, in sunny weather, at the Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security military exhibition. The 650 companies from 36 countries brought to Bucharest thousands of military systems and components, from F-35 aircraft to armored vehicles and from wiring systems to bullets.
Is this the “arsenal of democracy”, necessary because it protects our freedom when Putin has gone mad and others are preparing. Peace is obtained by being able to defend yourself in case of war. But it is still shocking what huge consumption humanity allocates for the military area. It's just the beginning.
Generation Z and the industries they repudiate
President Nicușor Dan also visited Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security. He came accompanied by his boy Antim, who will turn 4 in 10 days. The youth of those present, including the low average age of company representatives and workers, is another thing that has changed rapidly.
Some of them probably a few years ago would not have wanted to work for defense firms, just as they did not want to be employed by hydrocarbon companies or multinationals in general. But late millennials and Gen Z have started to pay their bills. And if this is what the current world offers them, what should they work for?
