“It's an indescribable joy, I've always trusted Popică. But on Sunday we really want to write history! Many of our fans have never seen a championship won by Craiova. That's what we want now.” was the statement by which Vladimir Screciu linked the celebration to what is to come.
On Sunday, in the championship, Nistor and Chipciu will have the chance of rematch. For this, mayor Emil Boc went to the locker room immediately after the footballers under the command of Cristiano Bergodi received their due awards.
The pressure is on Craiova. There will be no penalties on Sunday. The championship can be extended by one week. They have to beat us. If they succeed, hats off, but we also have the option of a draw. The pressure is on them. They have a good morale, we are a bit like that, but this is football, we cannot make a tragedy
– Cristiano Bergodi, U Cluj coach
