Who is the young woman in Trump's inner circle fueling his nightly tirades on social media?

Several members of US President Donald Trump's close circle are increasingly irritated by the influence of a collaborator considered responsible for the wave of controversial posts published late at night on the Truth Social platform, the American press reports.

According to material published by The Wall Street Journal, executive assistant Natalie Harp, at the beginning of Trump's second term at the center of his online communication apparatus, plays a key role in distributing aggressive messages and conspiracy theories promoted by the White House leader.

On many evenings, Donald Trump publishes dozens of messages attacking his political opponents, sharing AI-generated images, or promoting content from obscure MAGA accounts on the X and Truth Social platforms.

Sources cited by the American publication, however, state that much of this content is not prepared directly by Trump. Natalie Harp would select and type out post proposals—many taken or adapted from other online accounts—to present to the president for approval.

Later, it publishes the messages from Trump's official account. The president also posts certain messages personally, but according to the same sources, he approves all material that appears on his account.

Among the controversial posts attributed to the team coordinated by Harp were a racist video in which Barack and Michelle Obama were depicted as monkeys, as well as an AI-generated image in which Trump appeared in the pose of Jesus Christ. Both materials were later deleted.

The way online communication is handled has caused discontent within the administration, WSJ sources say. White House officials reportedly complain that Natalie Harp does not consult the chief of staff's office, the communications team or national security advisers before releasing sensitive messages.

According to the same sources, Harp would have conveyed to his colleagues that he works exclusively for Donald Trump and that he answers only to him.

White House communications director Steven Cheung declined to elaborate on how the internal message approval process works, but defended the effectiveness of Truth Social's platform.

“No other online communication tool has proven more effective than Truth,” he told The Wall Street Journal. He argued that the platform allows Trump to directly and unfilteredly convey his views to the American public without the “distortion” of them by the mainstream media.
