Chronicle by Sergiu Alexandru: Too little football » FCSB and Unirea Slobozia offered a difficult match to watch in Ghencea
Back in Ghencea, FCSB faced a team with big problems, both in the ranking and administratively, the team being currently without a license. The red-blues dominated, had the possession and the more dangerous attacks, but it was the Ialomi people who scored. But the goal that would have produced a huge surprise, one worthy of the stunts of laughter, was canceled by VAR for offside.
Holiday atmosphere in Ghencea
With just over 4,000 in attendance and the Conference League play-off spot secured, FCSB did not play their best game. He didn't seem to treat the match with intensity and seriousness either, but individual value should have been enough to bring the three points. But that didn't happen, and Unirea left with a point at home, which makes them equal Hermannstadt on points.
At the start of the first half, FCSB settled comfortably in the half of Claudiu Niculescu's team, once the enemy number 1 in Ghencea. He recovered, pressed and attacked, but without creating any important opportunity. Olaru (10) shot straight into the arms of Robert Popa, Mihai Popescu (17) headed over, then Robert Popa had an excellent reflex on the red-blues' biggest chance when Tavi Popescu's shot was deflected into the short corner.
Then, little by little, the home team's attacks died down. Until the end, only Cisotti (33) passed the goal, when he restarted spectacularly from the box, near the goal.
Laughter stunt goal, canceled by VAR
The end of the first half brought a phase rarely seen on the football field, at the end of which Unirea Slobozia scored, but the goal was canceled for offside.
What happened? After a free kick, Said sent a header into the crossbar. The ball bounced two meters from the goal, from where Orozco also hit the bar. Later, Mihai Popescu failed to block from the goal line, and Albu somehow managed to put the ball into the net. The goal, initially validated, was canceled by VAR for offside at Orozco.

The phase made FCSB make two changes. This is because Matei Popa was injured after violently hitting Dawa. Târnovanu came in his place, and Stoian in Cisotti's place, for the U21 rule.
45 minutes that hardly passed
If the first half had some actions that brought the audience to their feet, the second half had too few football moments. Goal actions were hardly seen and those that were completed were not dangerous at all. Only a few shots: one by Tănase, retained by Popa, and one by Carnat, rejected by Târnovanu.
The last minutes passed with difficulty. Lots of interruptions, some time-outs and some football.
Olaru broke the end of the match
The last emotions for the people of Ialomi were in overtime. When in two consecutive phases, Olaru missed the goal twice. At first his shot was blocked by Popa, then he hit the bar with a shot from the edge of the box. Phase after which the referee blew the final whistle.
It ended 0-0, a tie that means nothing for FCSB, and it gives Unirii Slobozia the chance to hope for a miraculous rescue.

Thus, Ștefan Târnovanu returns between the red-blue clubs. At the same time, Stoian also enters, instead of Cisotti: the goalkeeper was the player who met the U21 rule, so Lucian Filip and the staff have to improvise here as well.
The 44th minute: The goal of the Ialomiites is cancelled, but the phase was anthological. After two consecutive bars, Albu managed to insert the ball into the goal, but the goal was canceled due to offside. Minute 18: Important occasion for the same Tavi Popescu. He shoots from an angle, the ball is deflected, but Robert Popa rejects it for a corner.
Minute 17: After a combination in the lane between Florin Tănase and Tavi Popescu, the latter crosses to the edge of the small box, from where Mihai Popescu restarts with his head, but over the goal.
The 10th minute: Olaru's deflected shot from the edge of the box only reaches the middle of the Ialomi goal – no problems for Robert Popa.
