
US President Donald Trump's official visit to China will begin on May 13. This was reported by Deputy White House Press Secretary Anna Kelly, writes the Financial Times.
On May 14, he will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping. They will visit the Temple of Heaven and attend a state banquet in the evening. The Chinese Foreign Ministry also officially confirmed the summit of top officials in Beijing.
According to Kelly, the leaders will discuss deals in the aerospace, agricultural and energy sectors, possible Chinese purchases of Boeing aircraft and soybeans.
The head of the White House will stay in China until May 15, writes FT. According to the publication, one of the main topics of the visit will be the US war against Iran.
On May 6, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi visited the Chinese capital and held talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, writes Al Jazeera.
The Kremlin is also preparing a visit to China by the illegitimate president of the aggressor country, Russia, Vladimir Putin. It may take place in the second half of May. This will be Putin’s first trip abroad since the beginning of the year, the media noted.
