The former advisor for internal policy of Nicușor Dan says what he would do in his place: First I would give the mandate to the PSD, then again to Bolojan / “And let him stop saying that he does not dissolve the Parliament”

Ludovic Orban, former advisor for internal policy to President Nicușor Dan, told Digi 24 that the probability of PSD forming a parliamentary majority for the investiture of the government is not very high, and restoring the governing coalition is impossible.
“The political logic is very simple. PSD with AUR submitted a motion of censure. They gathered a majority to bring down the government. They must come up with a governing solution. Or PSD, because they initiated the motion,” said Orban, who last year was Nicușor Dan's deputy for a month and a half.
“In place of the president, I would give PSD a mandate, and if it fails to form a majority, as is very possible, from my point of view, the probability that PSD will form a parliamentary majority for the investiture of the government is not very high. And if it fails, give Ilie Bolojan a second mandate for a PNL-USR-UDMR coalition, because it will pass through the Parliament like cheese”, said the former presidential advisor.
“I would be happy to see that, for fear of the anticipated, they vote for the reinstatement of the Bolojan government”
“Sure, with one condition: the president should never again say that he is not dissolving the Parliament. Because the Parliament, if there is a government crisis and two government investments fail, it must be dissolved and early elections must be organized,” he added.
Ludovic Orban says that at this moment the AUR, PSD, SOS, POT parliamentarians or those who left their parties will not anticipate, so they will vote for a government.
“I would really be happy to see the same people who voted for the overthrow of the Bolojan government as the second time, for fear of the anticipated, vote for the reinvestment of the Bolojan government,” said Ludovic Orban
Ludovic Orban: “PSD only knows fear”
He stated that he would advise Nicușor Dan to find a solution to the crisis as quickly as possible: “Any delay, any delay, any procrastination of a solution is worse than finding a solution that may not suit the president”, says the former presidential adviser.
According to him, the censure motion was an attack against PNL, USR, UDMR, so restoring the governing coalition is “impossible, because you can no longer trust PSD”.
The leader of Forța Dreptei claims, regarding Nicușor Dan's relations with Ilie Bolojan and PSD, that he told the president that “PSD only listens out of fear”.
“I, on November 10, when I resigned from office, when our collaboration ended, I could not imagine what would follow, and my opinions were very clear. I said and publicly what I also said to the president, I told him very clearly. PSD does not know any other language than strong language. PSD only listens out of fear, when it feels you are strong, when it feels that you are willing to play hard with them. If you make concessions to them, if you're willing to compromise, if you look weak, it goes to your head. That's exactly what happened,” Ludovic Orban said.
