Farmers from 25 municipal districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory went to the fields

Farmers from 25 municipal districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have begun field work.
The farmers added moisture to an area of 463 thousand hectares – this is almost half of the plan. Spring sowing amounted to 55.3 thousand hectares, or 4.4% of the plan. Including 39.7 thousand hectares of grains and leguminous crops (5.1% of the plan), 249.8 hectares of vegetables (24.1%) and 224 hectares of potatoes (4.2% of the plan).
The head of JSC Altatskoye of the Sharypovsky district, Alexey Tomilov, spoke about the progress of field work:
“The enterprise was provided with seeds and mineral fertilizers. All the equipment has been prepared. This year we entered the fields a week later, but if the weather is favorable, we will carry out sowing at the optimal time. We started sowing peas, wheat, oats and rapeseed.”
Simultaneously with sowing, farmers treat the seeds. The supply of mineral fertilizers is under the control of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region. Farms purchased 80.6% of the planned volume.
The reserves of grain and leguminous seeds in agricultural enterprises amount to 109.3%, potatoes – 102.5%, vegetable crops – 100%, rapeseed – 111.3%, corn – 78.7%, soybeans – 146%.
“This year, the sown area of agricultural crops on farms is projected to be 1 million 415 thousand hectares. Most of the area is sown with grain and leguminous crops – it is planned to sow more than 786.2 thousand hectares. 316.5 thousand hectares will be used for rapeseed. More than 28.2 thousand hectares will be occupied by potatoes, 4.6 thousand hectares by vegetables, 250.7 thousand hectares by fodder crops,” noted Dmitry Voropaev, Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
