The last “wild” section of the Kachi embankment in Krasnoyarsk began to be improved

In Krasnoyarsk, they began to improve the left bank of the Kacha River – from Weinbaum Street to the Yudinsky Bridge on Oborony Street. This is the last section of the embankment that has not yet been put in order.
As the mayor's office said, the territory includes both a walking area already developed in the 2000s and an overgrown bank. Overgrowth and damaged trees are removed, at the same time old coverings are dismantled and continuous paths are formed in the asphalt part.
The new section will be built in the same style as the rest of the embankment. There will be pedestrian and bicycle paths, street furniture, viewing balconies and wooden decks, including under bridges. Trees, shrubs and perennial grasses will be planted along the walking areas. The last unrestored wrought-iron gazebo will be preserved. The lighting will also be updated – the lamps on the entire left bank will be the same.
Kacha has been put in order since 2017. The work continued thanks to the activity of Krasnoyarsk residents: last year 15,696 people voted for the improvement of this site. Thanks to this, the left bank of the Kachi will be completely landscaped.
