The politician published a photo on the occasion of his birthday.
“Today I am 53. Thank you to my mother for life, to my family for their support and patience, to my brothers and sisters for their faithful service,” the politician wrote.
He added that he, like every Ukrainian, has only one desire – the victory of Ukraine.
“I’m doing everything for this,” the politician noted.
In the photo, Lyashko is captured at a table against the background of the flag of the battalion, of which he is the commander. A black cat sits on the table next to him.
After taking the oath, Lyashko rarely appears in the information space. In September 2024, his wife Rosita Lyashko filed for divorce.
The court hearing was scheduled for early March 2025, but on the eve of the meeting, Sairanen’s representative went to court and asked to leave her claim without consideration. The reasons for the divorce, which did not take place, are not disclosed. Lyashko did not comment on his wife’s decision.

Oleg Lyashko was a member of parliament for almost 13 years – from May 25, 2006 to August 29, 2019.
At the beginning of October 2022, Lyashko announced that he took the oath of office in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In 2024, it became known that the ex-people's deputy appointed battalion commander and promoted to lieutenant colonel.
On October 15, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Lyashko commands a battalion of unmanned control systems of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
