The second stage of the XXI All-Russian football tournament “The Future Depends on You” starts in Krasnoyarsk

On April 8, Krasnoyarsk will host the second stage of the All-Russian football tournament for children from orphanages. More than fifty young football players who became winners in their regions will play in Stage II in the Siberian Federal District.
Krasnoyarsk will host teams from five regions: Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Republic of Khakassia, Omsk and Kemerovo regions. The tournament will take place at the Yenisei Football Arena sports complex. The Krasnoyarsk team “Leader” from the Partizan Orphanage will take part in the competition. Last year she reached the main stage in Sochi, but lost in the semi-finals with a score of 2:3.
Team coach Maxim Safonov shared his expectations from the tournament: “The Leader team is looking forward to the second stage of the “The Future Depends on You” competition in Krasnoyarsk. We have a dream – to go the entire distance and take first place in the Sochi final.”
Every year, teams compete at two levels: city and regional. This year, students from more than 50 regions of the country are taking part in the tournament. Competitions take place from February to April in Moscow, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk and Vladivostok. The final games will take place in May in Sochi on the Sirius federal territory.
As in previous years, each team will have its own press attaché from among the orphanage residents. The guys will learn the basics of the profession at master classes from famous sports journalists. In addition, participants will undergo the career guidance program “Skill City” as part of a project on career guidance and cyber socialization. The winners of the tournament will have the opportunity to spend a weekend with the Russian national football team at friendly matches in June.

Partners in organizing the tournaments are the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Russian Football Union.
