7 May 16:00

The Bank of Russia issued a commemorative coin with a face value of 10 rubles dedicated to Krasnoyarsk. On the reverse side there is a fragment of the memorial complex in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory – the sculptural composition “Woman and teenage boy assembling a mortar.”

Ten-ruble notes made from base metals were released in the “Cities of Labor Valor” series. As Komsomolskaya Pravda – Krasnoyarsk writes, in addition to the regional capital, Barnaul, Kamensk-Uralsky, Kirov, Kolomna, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Magadan and Penza appeared on the coins. The circulation of each city is one million pieces.

The press service of the Bank of Russia added that there is no need to specifically hunt for new coins. “Tens” will gradually go into circulation in all regions, and they will be available for change.
