In the Minusinsk District, police detained a 29-year-old worker at a recreation center who caused dry grass to fall after cleaning the stove. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

As police established, the man decided to get rid of the remaining ash after cleaning the stove. He took them out into the forest outside the base fence, poured them into a hole and covered them with earth. After some time, the young man noticed smoke and tried to put out the fire himself, but the neighbors reported the incident to the owner of the base and called the firefighters.

Administrative materials were drawn up against the man under the article on violation of fire safety requirements, as well as on the article on non-compliance with environmental protection requirements when handling waste.

In the near future they will be sent to the supervisory department to make a decision.

Police remind citizens that failure to comply with fire safety requirements can lead to irreparable consequences.
