Beetroot is poured as on yeast: 3 simple tricks for accelerated growth – a giant crop

Only three tricks will help accelerate growth and increase the crop without unnecessary costs. To get juicy and heavy beets without chemistry is easier than it seems.

Forget about sowing in open ground

Direct sowing inhibits development. It is better to soak the seeds in ash solution (spoon per liter of water) for half a day, and then germinate in peat containers. Seedlings with two or three leaves, planted on the bed, are ahead of the usual minimum for a week.

Correct top dressing is the key to the crop

A week after planting, the plants are watered with nettles (1 kg of fresh greens flooded with 10 liters of water, three days are infused). This enhances the growth of leaves.

Ten days later, a ash infusion (a glass of ash on a bucket of water) will be required, stimulating the formation of large root crops.

And after another ten days, plants should be sprayed with a solution of boric acid (2 g per 10 liters of water) to avoid voids and increase beet density.

The right approach to watering

At first, frequent watering with a frequency of three days are needed. Then they should be reduced to once a week. Such contrast makes the root crop grow deep into it and actively gain mass.

Mulch from straw will not let the earth dry out and protect from the heat.

A competent start, proper top dressing and moisture control will achieve an impressive result.
