In Krasnoyarsk, the collector on Semafornaya is planned to be repaired by May 31.
KrasKom said that as of today, all the necessary pipelines and components for them have been received to replace emergency drainage networks. Four bypass lines with a total length of about one kilometer were installed and put into operation with the installation of stationary pumping units in sewer wells upstream to pump sewer water bypassing the damaged collector.
Four temporary mini-pumping stations will operate until the adjustment of the technological regime for transporting wastewater through the repaired section of the pipeline is fully completed. According to experts, this is necessary for uninterrupted provision of water supply and sanitation services to residents of the right bank during the repair period.
“Currently, a process chamber is being installed at the site, in which new fiberglass pipes will be joined to reinforced concrete ones. The excavation of fragments of drainage networks destroyed as a result of the road collapse continues, as well as the preparation of a trench for a new foundation on which fiberglass pipes will be laid,” KrasKom reported.
Representatives of the manufacturer will monitor compliance with the technology for constructing a cushion for pipes. Due to the fact that drainage networks run under a busy highway and next to a railway, they are constantly under heavy dynamic load. Therefore, the further stable operation of one of the main sewerage collectors on the right bank depends on the quality compaction of soil under and around the pipes.
The pillow should consist of several layers of sand and gravel, each of which must be compacted as much as possible. This will be one of the most time-consuming stages of preparation for pipeline installation.
