The young Krasnoyarsk showed vigilance and stopped the pensioner in time, transferring money to fraudsters.
The 28-year-old man arrived on business in Divnogorsk and went into one of the stores where his attention was attracted by a woman who stood at the ATM with a frightened look and, following the instructions that were told by her phone, was about to transfer money. Knowing about such methods of fraud, the man went to an elderly woman and asked if she had everything normal. She explained that she was transferring her savings to a “safe account”. The man realized that the pensioner became the victim of scammers and called the police.

The guards of about a 76-year-old woman said that a bank representative called her and said that unauthorized withdrawal of money allegedly was taking place from her account. To maintain their savings, they must be transferred to a “safe account”. The victim withdrew 150 thousand rubles and was about to transfer them.
The police investigator opened a criminal case under the article “attempted fraud”. A set of operational measures is carried out aimed at establishing the individuals and location of the callers.
