The adult content site praises Apple's “pioneering” solution

The partial blocking of access to one of the world's most popular adult content websites was the result of concerns about the implementation of the Internet Safety Act (OSA).
According to it pornographic content providers are required to implement highly effective age verification systems to prevent children from accessing adult content. PornHub argued that instead of going through its age verification systems, potential users flocked to the sites [oferujące treści] illegal and that only device-based age verification, such as that used by Apple, Google and Microsoft, will level the playing field.
In March, Apple introduced age verification as part of its latest iOS software update – a solution that Aylo, the owner of PornHub, called “pioneering.”
“Apple's device-level age verification update in the UK offers one of the strongest and most difficult-to-bypass protections available today to help prevent minors from accessing age-inappropriate content,” Alex Kekesi, vice president of brand and community at Aylo, said in a statement.
