Russia turns off the Internet in Moscow. This is a reaction to the Ukrainian attacks

The “Meduza” website reports complaints about broken mobile internet in Moscow. Users complain about the lack of access to instant messengers and websites, including addresses on the so-called white list, i.e. websites approved by the authorities. Six Reuters journalists confirmed that there was no Internet connection in various districts of the Russian capital, although the Internet functioned normally in many other areas of the city.
Similar problems also apply to St. Petersburg, where only whitelisted sites are available.

The Kremlin announced restrictions last week, explaining it by the threat posed by Ukrainian drones. On Monday, mobile operators announced that from May 5 to May 9, the use of mobile Internet and sending text messages will be limited. A similar warning was issued by Russia's largest bank, Sberbank, and the taxi branch of Russia's largest online company, Yandex, warned that there may be problems with ordering taxis online.
There hasn't been such a modest parade for years
Fears of Ukrainian airstrikes also influenced the format of the parade – for the first time since 2007, the organizers abandoned the transport of heavy military equipment, and the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the program of the entire event included only the flight of aerobatic teams and Su-25 attack aircraft.
The annual victory parade celebrating the defeat of the Third Reich takes place on May 9 in Moscow and other Russian cities.
