we received the US response to the peace plan

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, quoted by Tasnim news agency, said that the response delivered via Pakistan is currently being considered. — We are not conducting nuclear negotiations at this stage – he added. The United States and Pakistan have not officially confirmed these reports.

Meanwhile In an interview with the Israeli broadcaster Kan News, the US president said that he had read Iran's proposal and considered it “unacceptable to him.” He also added that “the campaign is going great.”

Tension between the US and Iran is growing

On Friday, Donald Trump said that the Iranian authorities want to conclude an agreement and have made great steps in this direction, but he was not satisfied with their proposals. He admitted he may never reach a deal and instead “finish off” Iran.

On Saturday, he informed on the Truth Social website that he had not yet read the plan. “I will soon review the plan Iran just sent us, but I cannot imagine it being acceptable when Iran has not yet paid a high enough price for what it has done to humanity and the world over the last 47 years,” Trump wrote.

It is unclear what the new Iranian proposal includes. According to Reuters, the plan previously rejected by Trump would enable navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and end the US blockade of Iran, while postponing talks on Iran's nuclear program until later.

Iranian media reported that Tehran's 14-point offer included the withdrawal of US forces from areas surrounding Iran, the lifting of the blockade, the release of frozen Iranian assets, the payment of compensation, the lifting of sanctions and an end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, as well as a new mechanism to control the Strait of Hormuz.

The US and Israel launched attacks on Iran on February 28. A truce has been in force since April 8. Since then, U.S. and Iranian officials have held one round of talks. Attempts to organize further meetings have so far been unsuccessful.
