COURSE survey. How the political crisis changed the voting intention for PSD and AUR and how the parties in the coalition stand / How many Romanians want the replacement of Bolojan

The party led by George Simion continues to be in first place in Romanians' voting intentions, with more than ten percent compared to the next place occupied by PSD, according to an opinion poll published on Saturday by CURS. However, AUR's percentages are down from what other surveys in April indicated.
- The poll was conducted between April 28 and May 1, 2026, after PSD left the governing coalition and submitted a no-confidence motion together with AUR.
- The research was carried out on a national sample of 1098 respondents using the CATI method. The margin of error is ±3% at a 95% confidence level.
- The Center for Urban and Regional Sociology (CURS) was founded in 1996 and is fully owned by former journalist Iosif Buble. Iosif Buble is married to Diana Tușa, current PSD deputy.

PSD is rated at 23%, and PNL at 18%. USR is also above the electoral threshold, which would get 10%, as well as UDMR, with 5%.
SOS Romania, led by Diana Șoșoacă, and PNRR, party founded by Cristian Popescu Piedone, are at 3%, and the Young People's Party is rated at 2%.
