A 34 -year -old man, in a state of intoxication, removed the power gun of a pump from a gas station in Făget, Timiș County, and lit the fuel with a lighter, and then caused burns to one of the employees, reports the opinion.ro.
The man, from Buzău, came from Germany and stopped at the Făget gas station, where he consumed alcohol on the terrace, and at one point he got up and set the fuel in the gun pump, the police say.
“Following the checks carried out by the police, it was established that the 34 -year -old man would have previously consumed a large amount of alcohol on the fuel station terrace, later, he would have acted the pump fuel and lit the fuel with a lighter, causing a significant flow of inflammable liquid,” said Inspectorate.
Employees intervened quickly and stopped the electrical fuses of the tanks. There was no explosion, but a fire took place.
Wounded on an employee and ran into an ANL block
According to the police, the man sprayed with gasoline on one of the staff of the gas station and caused burns, and then fled to a nearby block, broke the door at the entrance and climbed the 3rd floor.
“The fire was promptly liquidated by the employees of the station, with the help of a fire extinguisher. During the incident, the man would have thrown heated fuel on one of the employees, causing burns to the limbs, after which he left the place and took refuge in a nearby ANL block, where he broke the access door and climbed to the 3rd floor.
The policemen who came to the scene convinced him, after negotiations, to descend.
The man was preventively arrested for 30 days and is accused of destruction by arson, beatings or other violence, disturbing public peace, but also attempted murder.
