“Dinopark” in the city of Sharypovo is included in the Federal Register of best landscaping practices implemented in 2025 in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The project, which arose on the site of an empty space in the city's Central Park, received federal recognition and will now be recommended for replication in other regions.

The idea of ​​creating a park was born thanks to paleontological finds of world significance in the vicinity of Sharypov, at the Berezovsky coal mine. The dinosaur skeletons discovered here attracted the attention of scientists from all over the country and became the basis for the creation of a unique public space. The project won the All-Russian competition for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns under the Russian Ministry of Construction and received federal funding in the amount of almost 100 million rubles.

Today, the park features realistic dinosaur figures, art objects, a slide in the shape of an extinct volcano, a children's play complex in the shape of a stegosaurus, a quiet recreation area, a bridge over an artificial stream, an illuminated fountain and an event area. Significant support for the project was provided by JSC SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and the Melnichenko Foundation, which acted as social partners of the municipality.

“The inclusion of Dinopark in the Federal Register of Best Practices secures Sharypovo’s status as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Sharypovo district has long been valued for its unique nature – dozens of clean lakes, picturesque hills and forests. Now people come here not only for the silence and water, but also for the only park in the region where you can see life-size dinosaurs,” said the press service of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk.

In addition, the All-Russian Opening Festival is organized here every year in early August. It is carried out within the framework of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality” with the support of the Tourism Agency of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the administration of Sharypovo, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and the Melnichenko Foundation.

In August 2025, the festival attracted more than 30 thousand participants – residents and guests from different regions of the country. The event was also noted at the international level, becoming the winner of the XIV International Prize in the field of event tourism RUSSIAN EVENT AWARD in the category “Best tourism event in the field of culture and art” among cities with a population of up to 100 thousand people.

For the Krasnoyarsk Territory, such projects are of particular importance, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk emphasizes:
