In the Tungussky Nature Reserve in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a brown bear that woke up after hibernation was captured by a camera trap.
Footage released by staff today shows the animal walking slowly and carefully through the snow.
“They lifted me up, but forgot to wake me up. It’s clear from his slow gait that he is unable to completely shake off the remnants of his deep winter sleep,” the reserve commented on the bear’s awakening.
