During the first half of March, 5 dogs and 2 cats flew abroad from Krasnoyarsk

From March 1 to March 15, specialists from the regional Rosselkhoznadzor controlled 97 international flights at the checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation at Krasnoyarsk airport.

According to the department, in the first half of the month, 28.2 kg of products in violation of veterinary and sanitary requirements were seized from passengers from the Republics of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan from hand luggage and baggage. Among the items seized were dairy and meat products, honey.

“Veterinary-hazardous products were destroyed by burning in a specially equipped oven within the airport checkpoint. For violation of the requirements of the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union, 15 citizens were brought to administrative responsibility,” explained Rosselkhoznadzor.

Also, from March 1 to 15, department employees carried out veterinary control and formalized the removal of 7 small domestic animals from the territory of the region. Of these, 5 dogs are French bulldog, poodle, Jack Russell terrier, Chihuahua, Yorkshire terrier and 2 mongrel cats. The animals flew with their owners to Spain, Italy, Thailand, Georgia and Vietnam.

In addition, 2 consignments of 1,430 ornamental birds were imported from Kyrgyzstan to Krasnoyarsk: budgerigars, lovebirds, cockatiels and cockatiels. And also 3 batches (418.3 thousand pieces) of hatching eggs from chickens from Uzbekistan.
