The PSD deputy announces that he will not vote for the PSD-AUR motion, “against the most competent prime minister since the Revolution”
The former SOS deputy, Alexandrin Moiseev announced on Facebook that he will not support the PSD-AUR censure motion, which he describes as being directed against “the most competent prime minister that Romania has had since the Revolution until now”., Moiseev left Diana Şoșoacă's formation in 2025, initially choosing to continue his activity as an independent, but shortly after, he joined the PSD group in the Chamber of Deputies.

In a message published on Facebook, Moiseev expresses his support for the current prime minister and argues the decision by the need for political stability in the regional context.
“I have no way to vote the censure motion against the most competent prime minister that Romania has had since the Revolution until now. It would be a slap in the face to Bessarabia, to which I am spiritually connected and which looks towards Romania with confidence. It would be a slap in the face to Ukraine, with which I have a sincere friendship and which needs stability in the region.”writes Alexandrin Moiseev on Facebook.
The deputy states that he will not support political initiatives that he considers risky for the stability of the country.
“I will not endorse, with my vote, risky political constructions”he specifies, adding that the prime minister must “left to complete his term”.
He also emphasizes that Romania needs political continuity and the maintenance of the pro-European direction, especially in the context of the current regional situation.
PSD and AUR submitted a joint motion against the Bolojan Government
The censure motion against the Government led by Ilie Bolojan was submitted on Tuesday, April 28, in the Parliament, after the Social Democratic Party and the Alliance for the Union of Romanians announced the initiation of the initiative just a day ago.
According to a PSD press release today, the social democrats claim that the initiative would open “the way to a profound change in the mode of government. For its adoption, a minimum of 233 votes from the total of 463 parliamentarians is needed.
The PSD currently has 129 deputies and senators, and the AUR has 90, which means that together they reach 219 votes, 14 less than the required threshold. The executive is supported in Parliament by PNL, USR and UDMR.
The announcement regarding the submission of the motion was made on Monday, April 27, when PSD and AUR representatives specified that it was a “strictly technical” step, necessary to meet the number of signatures required by the procedure.
