Drivers filmed from the air while driving aggressively. One of them made four dangerous overtakings in four minutes / What sanctions did the police in Cluj give them

Two drivers were fined thousands of lei after they were filmed driving aggressively and making dangerous overtaking on a national road in Cluj County, reports News.ro. One of them was stopped by the crew on the helicopter monitoring the road traffic.
The two drivers were registered on Sunday, within just one hour, on DN1C, on the Cluj-Napoca – Baia Mare sector.
“Two drivers ignored the traffic rules and made irregular overtakings on a continuous line, as if the road was only theirs. A 50-year-old man from Maramureş County managed four irregular overtakings in just four minutes, between the towns of Livada and Buneşti, a situation that is not related to performance, but to unconsciousness. Another 59-year-old driver from Satu Mare County was spotted in the Coplean area while performed three similar overtakings”, informed the officials of the Cluj County Police.
In the case of the 50-year-old driver, seeing that he did not calm down and continued his dangerous behavior, the air crew decided to intervene, he was summoned by the helicopter's acoustic system and stopped.
The 50-year-old man was sanctioned with a fine of 4,860 lei and the suspension of the right to drive for 240 days, and the 59-year-old man with a fine of 3,645 lei and the suspension of the right to drive for 180 days.
The police state that the action took place with the support of the General Aviation Inspectorate (IGAv) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI).
