The maximum price for Pb95 gasoline is PLN 6.21/l, for Pb98 gasoline – PLN 6.72/l, and for diesel oil – PLN 7.12/l – according to the announcement of the Minister of Energy published in Monitor Polski. These prices will be valid at gas stations on Tuesday, April 28.

On April 25-27, i.e. until Monday inclusive, the maximum price for Pb95 gasoline is PLN 6.17/l, for Pb98 gasoline – PLN 6.71/l, and for diesel oil – PLN 7.01/l.
Based on new regulations introduced in response to the increase in fuel prices related to the conflict in the Middle East, the maximum price is set every working day by the Minister of Energy based on a specific algorithm.
The algorithm consists of: the arithmetic average of wholesale fuel prices from the previous business day reported by the five largest market participants, VAT and excise tax, fuel surcharge and a fixed amount covering the operating costs of sales in the amount of PLN 0.30 per liter.
The announced maximum price becomes effective the day after publication in the Official Journal Monitor Polski.
In the case of non-working days, the principle of continuity applies – the price announced on the last business day before a weekend or holiday and other non-working days is applied until the next business day, including this day. (PAP Business)
