In Krasnoyarsk, rescuers had to evacuate teenagers riding on a raft along the Yenisei

In Krasnoyarsk, rescuers removed teenagers riding on a raft from a raft.

On the evening of April 25, rescuers of the Krasnoyarsk search and rescue team received a message that on the Abakan channel of the Yenisei River, three teenagers were riding on a homemade raft; evacuation was required. Rescuers evacuated the teenagers from the raft and handed them over to the police.

“Unfortunately, such cases when children go sailing on homemade rafts are not uncommon and lead to tragic consequences every year. The main threats in such situations are the fragility and instability of homemade structures, the risk of hypothermia in cold water, the possibility of injury, as well as the complete lack of adult control,” rescuers warn.

Rescuers also remind parents: never leave children unattended near bodies of water. It is important not only to ensure safety, but also to hold an explanatory conversation with children, explaining that even the most harmless entertainment at first glance can be fraught with serious danger.
