The YouTube channel “Visiting Gordon” published an interview with Azerbaijani political scientist Ramiz Yunus, who lives in the United States.
The founder of the online publication “GORDON” Dmitry Gordon and Yunus discussed:
- visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Azerbaijan;
- Turkey and Azerbaijan, which Yunus called the “new geopolitical axis”;
- the policies of US President Donald Trump;
- the likelihood of a coup in the aggressor country of Russia;
- Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy facilities;
- probable timing of the end of the war in Ukraine.
“Azerbaijan has been playing a big game of chess for 35 years. Baku has outplayed the North, South, West and East,” Yunus believes.
Yunus was born in 1959 in Baku. Graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
In Azerbaijan, he was the head of the government apparatus, managing the affairs of the parliament. Worked in Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Now lives in the USA, acts as a political expert in the media.
