A man with mental problems cut himself with a machete in the middle of a street in Constanța
A 29-year-old man from Constanța, known to suffer from mental disorders, injured his forearm with a machete on Saturday afternoon, while he was on Mureșului street in the same municipality.

The police officers of Section 3 were alerted by a call to 112 around 4:10 p.m., reports replicaonline.ro
When the police crew arrived, the man was found injured, with the machete on him. Fighters of the Special Actions Service also intervened in support.
“The mobilization was immediate. The teams within Service for Special Actions and of the Constanța Municipality Police acted firmly, trying to get the person in question to give up the machete. The situation was successfully managed by the police, and the man was taken safely by the medical crews and transported to the Palazu Mare hospital, where he is now receiving the care he needs“, the IPJ Constanța representatives sent.
The police are continuing their investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
