When are the Iran-US talks? Witkoff and Kushner go to Pakistan

US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and the head of state's son-in-law Jared Kushner will travel to Pakistan on Saturday morning for talks with the Iranian delegation, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said.
“The Iranians reached out, as the president requested, and asked for that one-on-one conversation,” Leavitt said on Fox News. — So Steve and Jared will see what they have to say. We hope that this will be a productive conversation and that we will be able to move this issue forward towards an agreement, she added.

Iran-US negotiations in Pakistan. Who will take part?
CNN reported earlier that Witkoff and Kushner will go to negotiations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi over the weekend. If the talks prove promising, US Vice President JD Vance may join the team.
Vance is not currently planning to attend the meeting in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, due to the absence of Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. Ghalibaf is expected to be viewed by the White House as the head of the Iran delegation and Vance's counterpart.

Iran's foreign minister goes to Pakistan

As reported by Iran's official IRNA agency, Aragchi will begin a trip on Friday that will include visits Islamabad, Muscat and Moscow.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced that he was extending the ceasefire with Iran introduced two weeks ago.
