The military of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation resumed attempts to penetrate into Kupyansk (Kharkov region) through the village of Golubovka north of the city, and also using gas pipes. The speaker of the Joint Forces group, Viktor Tregubov, announced this on April 24 on the air of “Suspilny”.
According to him, the Russian occupiers are suffering significant losses, but continue to try to advance along these routes. Tregubov also noted that on the left bank of the Oskol River, Russian troops are conducting active attacks along the entire line of contact, in particular in the direction of Kivsharovka.
“They lie that they are already in Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, but they flatter themselves too much,” Tregubov emphasized.
DeepState reported that occupation troops allegedly crossed Oskol via a gas pipe back in September 2025. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces explained that the exit from the pipeline is under the fire control of Ukrainian forces and does not lead directly to the city. After this, the defense forces blew up the pipe.
