In Krasnoyarsk, a driver was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident. The situation was reported to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
The accident occurred in the Sverdlovsk district of Krasnoyarsk last week. A 23-year-old man was driving a car “Kia» and hit an 18-year-old guy on an electric bike.
Judging by the video, this happened in the parking lot. The driver pulled out from behind other cars and did not notice the bicycle. After the collision, the driver stopped the car, got out and asked the cyclist about his well-being. After making sure that he did not need medical attention, the man left.

But in the evening the guy who was hit felt unwell and in the morning he went to the doctor. He was diagnosed with injuries sustained as a result of the accident.
Employees of the traffic police regiment quickly identified the culprit of the accident and detained him.
“Administrative material has been drawn up against the driver under Part 2 of Art. 12.27 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The court sentenced him to arrest for 3 days. We remind you: drivers are required to report an accident to the State Traffic Inspectorate and not leave the scene of the accident, even if the victim claims to be feeling well.», — explained to the traffic police.
