In a study conducted by the Elabe center, 32 percent participants admitted that they had stopped going to the cinema or restaurant.

The authors of the survey estimate that this type of sacrifices in everyday life “affect all categories of the population”, although to a greater extent – active people. “Resignation from travel, related to the increase in gasoline prices, most strongly affects car drivers from small and medium-sized agglomerations” and with lower incomes – noted in the commentary.

From the start on February 28 this year. Due to the US and Israel's war with Iran, the price of gasoline increased by an average of 15% and diesel by 34%. In response to the attacks, Tehran blocked the strategically important Strait of Hormuz for oil transport, connecting the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman. (PAP)
