Achinets was convicted of stealing money from bank cards of a Moscow resident (video)

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court found a 33-year-old resident of Achinsk guilty of stealing about 32 thousand rubles from other people’s bank cards.

The crime was committed in the fall of 2025, the victim was a 49-year-old resident of Moscow. The man was passing through Krasnoyarsk and at the airport lost his cardholder, which contained all his cards. Then he began receiving payment notifications at various stores. In one of them, an intruder was caught on CCTV cameras.

The police identified the suspect and detained him. “It turned out that while at the airport and waiting for his bus to Achinsk, a previously unconvicted man found a cardholder on the street and picked it up. Arriving in the city, he decided to pay with the cards he found. The man went to a barbershop, bought food and alcohol, and also paid at a mobile accessories store,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
A criminal case was opened and investigated against the defendant under Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft from a bank account.” The court sentenced him to one year of suspended imprisonment. The verdict came into force.
