This dessert is prepared without an oven, and there is no need to roll out the cakes either. The main products are sour cream, cottage cheese and cookies. After cooking, the cake is simply sent to the refrigerator. The whole no-bake process only takes 15 minutes and it turns out delicious. The recipe was shared by the author of the popular culinary Zen channel (12+) Olga Lungu.
Ingredients:
- Cookies – 200 g
- Walnuts – 100 g
- Dried apricots – 80–100 g
- Dark chocolate – 70 g
- Butter – 70 g
For cream:
- Curd mass – 360 g
- Sour cream 25% – 300 g
- Sugar – 80 g
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g
- Gelatin – 1 teaspoon + 3 tbsp. spoons of water
Step by step recipe
Place the cookies into a blender bowl and grind into fine crumbs. Add walnuts and dried apricots there, beat everything again to a homogeneous crumb. Pour the resulting mixture into a deep bowl.
Separately, mix dark chocolate (70 g) with butter (70 g). Microwave and melt until smooth. Pour the chocolate icing into the crumbs and mix well.
Add gelatin to 3 tablespoons of water, stir and leave for 10 minutes to swell.
Add regular and vanilla sugar to the curd mass, then sour cream. Mash with a fork until smooth.
Place the swollen gelatin in the microwave and melt until liquid. Add 2 tablespoons of curd and sour cream to it, stir. Then pour this mixture into the main cream and mix again.
Take a mold with a diameter of 18 cm and line the sides with paper. Place the first layer of crumbs on the bottom, then a layer of cream. Alternate until both are finished.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for 3 hours. After this, remove from the mold, cut and serve.
