The project of a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge to the Krasnoyarsk Tatyshev Island was approved by the state examination. The head of the city, Sergei Vereshchagin, announced this on his social networks.

The mayor noted that the next stage will be to find a contractor to build the bridge. Work is planned to begin this year. The bridge will connect Tatyshev Island with Green Grove. As a result, Krasnoyarsk residents will have a unique multi-kilometer space for walking along the left bank – almost to the Nikolaevsky Bridge.

The facility is part of the preparation program for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.

“We checked on the implementation of plans at the regional organizing committee under the leadership of Governor Mikhail Kotyukov. We have 50 events this year. Among the largest: we will replenish the fleet of gas-powered buses by 155 units, we will begin updating 15 public spaces: parks on Vzlyotka and Gvardeysky, Serebryany Square, Yaryginskaya and Central embankments and others, we will repair the facades of buildings, including monument houses, we will continue to transfer the private sector to eco-heating, the construction of the Surikov Center and the road to Solnechny,” Sergey Vereshchagin clarified.

The mayor of Krasnoyarsk also drew attention to improving the quality of cleaning in the city. In particular, with the support of the governor, 50 units of special-purpose road equipment are being purchased and the possibility of supplying another 25 vehicles is being explored.

In addition, an information portal for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk with a feedback platform is being developed. As a result, city residents will be able to offer their ideas.
