Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country needs to prepare for structural changes in the labor market associated with the introduction of artificial intelligence. He spoke about this at a meeting of the State Council dedicated to personnel training.
The head of state pointed to the labor shortage in the country and emphasized the importance of creating accessible systems for retraining and upgrading the skills of citizens. In his opinion, these measures are especially relevant in the context of the rapid development of technology.
As Yamal 1 writes, Vladimir Putin drew attention to the risk of replacing people with artificial intelligence in routine tasks and areas where qualifications are not required.

At the same time, Vladimir Putin noted that the overall unemployment rate in Russia remains a record low and amounts to 2.2%.
Let us add that the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov also made a report at the meeting. Due to his participation in it, he missed the inauguration of the new mayor of Krasnoyarsk.
