New data from the Hungarian elections. Changes in the number of seats

The latest data from the National Electoral Office (NVI) guarantees Tisza a qualified majority of 133 seats and allows for changes to the constitution and laws adopted during Viktor Orban's 16 years of rule.
TISZA won in Hungary. The final results are not yet known
As a result of the elections, three parties entered the Hungarian parliament. According to the latest NVI data, the coalition of Fidesz and KDNP led by Orban won 53 seats, and the far-right Mi Hazank – six.
From previous data, after conversion, almost 99 percent votes, it resulted that TISZA would receive 137 seats, the Fidesz-KDNP coalition led by Orban – 56, and the far-right Mi Hazank – six.
Votes cast by post and abroad are still being counted.
Peter Magyar will form a new government. The swearing-in ceremony will probably take place in mid-May
On Wednesday, Tisza's chairman and future Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar met with the country's president Tamas Sulyok, who – as Magyar admitted after the conversation – assured him that the transfer of power would take place quickly.
President Sulyok also declared during the meeting with Magyar that he would entrust him with the mission of forming a government. Magyar has repeatedly called on the head of state — appointed in 2024 by the Orban-controlled parliament — to resign.
Hungary's new government is expected to be sworn in in mid-May.
