Police officers detained a Krasnoyarsk resident suspected of robbing a child and stealing a bicycle.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region, at the end of March a resident of Krasnoyarsk contacted the police duty station and reported that in the courtyard of their house on the street. Timiryazev, an unknown man snatched a cell phone worth 30 thousand rubles from the hands of her 10-year-old daughter and disappeared.
Law enforcement officers also established that the attacker was also involved in the theft of a bicycle from the entrance of a residential building in the Central District.
In Krasnoyarsk, police detained a suspect in the robbery of a schoolgirl and theft of a bicycle.
“During the operational activities, the police identified the suspect and detained him. He turned out to be a resident of the regional center. He sold the stolen property to strangers on the street and spent the money on personal needs,” the regional police clarified.
Based on this fact, criminal cases have been initiated against the suspect under Part 1 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery” and Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. A preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
