Extended investigation in the Nordis case: more than 300 new complaints and an additional damage of 35.8 million euros

Prosecutors have expanded their investigation into the Nordis group after receiving more than 300 new criminal complaints. The new complaints concern the administrators of the group and the companies Nordis Management and Nordis Mamaia, both prosecuted for fraud with particularly serious consequences.

According to the prosecutor of the case, the prosecution extended to the administrators of the Nordis group, as well as to the companies Nordis Management and Nordis Mamaia, both being prosecuted, under the aspect of committing the crime of fraud with particularly serious consequences, for new material acts.
The new complaints indicate an additional damage of 35.8 million euros.
Up to this date, approximately 700 criminal complaints have been filed in the case, with 850 people being victims, and the damage in terms of the crime of cheating with particularly serious consequences has risen to approximately 75 million euros, representing the sums of money paid by the injured parties, for buildings that were not built and delivered, judicial sources stated.
