He called on governments to develop “carefully coordinated plans” to deal with possible fuel rationing.
Meanwhile, Brussels plans to propose “voluntary coordination” to redistribute aviation fuel across Europe to avoid regional shortages, according to Euractiv sources.
Some countries have larger reserves of jet fuel than others, but all EU countries agree that none should face shortages, the source added.
