If the skin on your hands peels, cracks at the base of your fingers, or seems “over-dried” even after cream, the reason is often not due to age, but to constant contact with water, detergents and air without moisture. But there is no need to buy expensive masks or sign up for procedures. A simple evening ritual of three available ingredients is enough.
Every night before bed, mix one teaspoon of honey, one teaspoon of vegetable or olive oil and a few drops of warm water until the consistency of a soft paste. Apply the mixture to hands and fingers, paying special attention to dry areas and cuticles. Massage the skin with light circular movements for two minutes. Honey attracts moisture, oil nourishes, and its warm texture improves microcirculation.
After this, put on cotton gloves or simply wrap your hands in a soft cloth and leave the mixture on overnight. In the morning, wash off with warm water without soap. Repeat the procedure daily.
After just three days, the skin stops tightening after washing. By the fifth day, it becomes elastic, soft to the touch, and the cuticle is less dry and inflamed.
For best results, wash dishes with gloves, do not use gels with fragrances and do not wipe your hands until dry, just blot with a towel.
