Donald Trump has spoken. “Israel will no longer bomb Lebanon”

Donald Trump announced that the United States would receive “all of Iran's nuclear dust” created “thanks to our wonderful B2 bombers.”
“No money will be exchanged in any form. This agreement is in no way contingent on Lebanon, but the United States will independently cooperate with Lebanon and address Hezbollah-related issues as appropriate,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The US president stressed that Israel would no longer bomb Lebanon. “We banned them from doing this. That's enough!!! Thank you!” Trump declared.
Ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon
On Thursday, Donald Trump announced that the president of Lebanon and the prime minister of Israel had agreed to a 10-day ceasefire. The leaders met for the first time in 34 years.
The American president noted that his officials, including Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, will work to achieve lasting peace between Israel and Lebanon.
Thousands of deaths
The Israeli army launched an operation against Hezbollah in early March, conducting airstrikes in Lebanon as well as ground operations in the south of that country. The conflict erupted after Iran-backed Hezbollah began attacking Israel's north again. This, in turn, was a reaction to the American-Israeli strikes against Iran that began on February 28.
The Israeli offensive forced more than a million people to flee southern Lebanon. The entire country has approximately 6 million inhabitants. Israeli attacks killed 2,167 people, including 260 children and 172 women, Lebanon's health ministry said. The office does not indicate in its announcements what part of the 1,735 killed men were Hezbollah fighters.
