The Israeli military announced that on the night from Friday to Saturday it attacked facilities in Tehran where ballistic missiles belonging to the IRGC were produced and a facility of the Iranian Ministry of Defense responsible for the production of rocket fuel.
“At night, the Israeli Air Force […] carried out a large-scale strike operation in Tehran,” the military command said in a statement quoted by AFP.

The Israeli army assessed the effects of the attack as significant for Iran's military potential. “As part of this operation, facilities used for the production of necessary components for the development of ballistic missiles, belonging to the Iranian regime's security apparatus, were attacked,” the command explained.
“These attacks significantly limit the ability of the Iranian terrorist regime to continue producing essential ballistic missile components at these facilities,” it added.
The Middle East region has been at war since February 28, 2026. The conflict was started by joint US-Israeli attacks on Iranian territory. In response, Iran conducted missile and drone strikes against Israel and the Persian Gulf states.
