The head of Puck is fighting for election attendance in the commune. It offers residents 10,000 zloty


In the first round of presidential elections in Poland in the Puck commune, over 14.1 thousand were handed over. votes. This translated into a attendance of 68.45 percent. For comparison, the average attendance in the entire poviat was 71.26 percent. This translated into 36 percent. support for Rafał Trzaskowski, 21.74 percent Karol Nawrocki and 16 percent Sławomir Mentzen.
The very original idea of mobilizing voters came by the head of the Puck commune Marcin Nikrant, who wants to pay for participation in the elections up to 10,000. zloty.
“Every voice matters! By joining the profrexial campaign of local governments from all over the country, the Puck commune also encourages you to participate in elections, rewarding you for attendance” – explains the local government on Facebook.

Nikrant does not want to transfer money to individual votes. He explains that each of the village councils will receive funding for reported investment tasks depending on the attendance. He even published a special “price list” funding for attendance:
- 65–69.99 percent – 1.5 thousand PLN gross,
- 70–74.99 percent – 3 thousand PLN gross,
- 75–79.99 percent – 7 thousand PLN gross,
- 80-100 percent – 10 thousand PLN gross.
As the local government indicated, money can be allocated, among others for the construction or renovation of the playground, preparation of project documentation or the purchase of elements of small architecture.
