According to the claim of the prosecutor's office, the Krasnoyarsk “Specialized Motor Transport Enterprise” was obliged to pay compensation to the employee for work-related injuries.
The incident occurred in the summer of 2025 in a mechanical repair bay. After the planning meeting, the issuance of waybills and minor repairs, the driver was assigned a KamAZ truck to work on, which required tire replacement, but priority was given to another vehicle. The tire fitter put both cars into the pit and took on the first one. Then the driver, without waiting in line, began removing the wheels from the truck himself. He rolled the tire into the inflation cage and at some point it exploded. Hearing a loud bang, colleagues ran into the box and saw an unconscious man in front of the cage.
An ambulance took the victim to a regional hospital, where he was diagnosed with an open head injury and other serious injuries. The injury was considered life-threatening. The man was treated in hospital for a long time, then underwent rehabilitation, but is still on sick leave with pain and limitations.
“The prosecutor's office conducted an investigation based on the driver's statement. It turned out that the employer violated labor safety – did not organize the work properly, did not control discipline, and allowed the driver to perform extraneous duties without an order from the manager. The prosecutor filed a claim for compensation for moral damage. The court satisfied the demands in full: 500 thousand rubles were recovered from SATP JSC. The implementation of the decision is under control,” the supervisory agency said.
