In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, former deputy head of Divnogorsk Natalya Frolova is suspected of receiving a bribe with construction materials and a house. The Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office announced the initiation of a criminal case against her today.

It was established that in the period from 2022 to 2024, the local “Department of Capital Construction and Urban Services” concluded 14 municipal contracts with a commercial company for the improvement of city facilities and the demolition of residential unsafe buildings. According to the investigation, Frolova, being at that time the deputy head of the city and a member of the acceptance committee, received illegal remuneration from the contractor, for which she ensured the acceptance of the work performed and timely payment for it.
“At some point, the general director of Megapolis LLC decided that he could earn more money from fraud, and became involved in a criminal case for fraud on an especially large scale. While under investigation, he entered into a cooperation agreement with the prosecutor and told whom he paid and for what. According to his testimony, the deputy head of Divnogorsk helped his company accept work without problems and pay for contracts on time. And in return she received building materials and the construction of her own house. In the period from 2022 to 2024, the official accepted “gifts” totaling about 1.9 million rubles – not in cash, but in the form of concrete, bricks and the construction of a residential building on her land,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Natalya Frolova is charged with committing a crime under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receipt of a bribe in the form of other property, illegal provision of property-related services on an especially large scale). She is currently detained and the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided. The investigation is ongoing.
