Vitaly Ezopov, co-owner of one of the country's largest telecommunications providers Mastertel, was found dead in his apartment in Moscow. Previously, he committed suicide.
According to Mash, the 48-year-old businessman did not show up for work, and his assistant was unable to reach him. A wife arrived at an apartment in the west of the capital. A man’s body lay on the bed, next to it was a cylinder with the inscription “Nitrogen” and a tube, and a plastic bag on his head.
Ezopov held senior positions in telecommunications companies. Since 2000, he led the Mastertel company and was a member of the board of directors of the Prime Business Group holding. He was involved in the development of domestic tourism in Russia and was the host of the “Game for Big Game” program on “Silver Rain”. Vitaly left three sons.
At the end of June, the media wrote about a possible raider takeover at Mastertel: Ezopov said that they were trying to force him out of business.
