US President Donald Trump announced in a conversation with the media that authorities in Tehran agreed to hand over nuclear material. So far, sources in Iran have not confirmed this information.
— It is very important that Iran does not have nuclear weapons. They agreed to it. They will give us back the nuclear dust that is deep underground because we attacked [ich ośrodki] bombers – Donald Trump described on Thursday during a conversation with journalists before his departure to Las Vegas.
— Iran agreed to this very strongly (…). So we have agreed a lot with Iran. And I think something very positive will happen, he added. He noted that the agreement was “very close”.

— We will have a meeting, the first of its kind in 44 years – he described. The American leader added that Lebanon must “deal with Hezbollah.”
The president assessed that extending the truce would not be necessary, but if no agreement was finally reached, fighting would likely resume. When asked if he intended to fly to Pakistan for talks with Iran, Trump replied that he might do so if he believed the agreement was ready to be finalized.
— If the agreement is signed, I can fly there – said the president, repeatedly praising the role of the Pakistani authorities and the commander of the Pakistani army, Asim Munir.
