Women from Masovia wanted to do business in oil. “Contact suddenly stopped”

Women aged 57 and 67 trusted his assurances and started making transfers to the indicated accounts. In total, they donated over 100,000. PLN, believing that their money works for high profits. The fraudster maintained constant contact with them, creating the impression of professionalism and care for their investment – informs the police from Sokołów Podlaski.
The women observed fictitious charts and false confirmations of supposed profits. After some time, when they tried to withdraw the funds, contact with the advisor began to cease. Eventually they realized that they had fallen victim to fraud.

The police warn against fraudsters
They reported the matter to the police, who initiated proceedings. The officers emphasize that similar methods are now very common. Scammers often exploit emotions, promising quick and reliable profits. They create time pressure so that victims act impulsively.
